Let there be no mistake. Our Constitution starts out with the words 'We the People', not we the elite or we the ruling class. It is a document of freedom and not of tyranny. Elected officials take the oath of office to uphold the Constitution but there are those who ignore this oath and use their office only to gain power over the people. Such officials who abuse their power need to be removed from office.
