Election days come and go, but the struggle for economic, social, racial and environmental justice continues. Together, we built something special and unprecedented through our presidential campaign. Now, we are going to take the next steps for our political revolution.

We are building a new organization called Our Revolution. Our goal will be the same as in our campaign: we must work to transform American society by making our political and economic systems work for all of us, not just the 1 percent.

That is as true today as it was then. That is why Our Revolution will focus on three distinct areas of work:

1. Revitalizing American democracy by bringing millions of working people and young people into the political system.
2. Empowering the next generation of progressive leaders by inspiring, recruiting and supporting progressive candidates across the entire spectrum of government - from school board to the U.S. Senate.
3. Doing what the corporate media does not do: elevating political consciousness by educating the public about the most pressing issues confronting our nation and the bold solutions needed to address them.

I will never abandon Bernie Sanders and never vote for Hillary Clinton nor in Trump.

You came to support Bernie Sanders and then decided to switch sides.

You made a big strategic mistake.

Hillary has is no breath and arguments to defend herself  from her mistakes during discussion and debate with Trump.

Everything indicates that only 9% of the population will vote for Hillary Clinton.

 It's not the money from donations will now make the difference, but  candidates moral conduct.

There is still time HC to give up and support Bernie Sanders.

Why did you choose a liar? It's a big risk! She agree with TPP.

I hope that there will be Bernie Sanders "resurrection" .

If we don’t do everything we can now, we might wake up the morning after Election Day and find that Donald Trump is our next president and extremist Republicans still control the U.S. Senate.

They’ll have free rein to push their nightmare agenda—tax breaks for the wealthy, wage and benefit cuts for working people, attacks on our rights to negotiate together for a better workplace, and confirming extreme judges who will continue to roll back our rights to vote. We can’t let that happen!

Trump has a clear record of outsourcing and busting unions. We know he only cares about himself, and not working people.

Mr. Trump: "ours is a sacrifice you will never know"

Karen Meredith, who lost her son in Iraq and now serves as the Military Families Coordinator at VoteVets, wrote to Donald Trump expressing her dismay with his treatment of Captain Humayun Khan's family.

She was joined by the family members of sixteen fallen service-members who signed the letter, as well. We hope that you will read the letter below and add your name to theirs demanding Donald Trump apologize to the Khan family for his offensive and anti-American comments.

Mr. Trump,

We are all Gold Star Families, who have lost those we love the most in war. Ours is a sacrifice you will never know. Ours is a sacrifice we would never want you to know.

Your recent comments regarding the Khan family were repugnant, and personally offensive to us. When you question a mother's pain, by implying that her religion, not her grief, kept her from addressing an arena of people, you are attacking us. When you say your job building buildings is akin to our sacrifice, you are attacking our sacrifice.

You are not just attacking us, you are cheapening the sacrifice made by those we lost.

You are minimizing the risk our service members make for all of us.

This goes beyond politics. It is about a sense of decency. That kind decency you mock as "political correctness."

We feel we must speak out and demand you apologize to the Khans, to all Gold Star families, and to all Americans for your offensive, and frankly anti-American, comments.

We hope you will hear us.

OPEN LETTER TO BERNIE SANDERS FROM FORMER CAMPAIGN STAFF

Dear Senator Sanders,

Last summer you said you would not run as a third party candidate if you did not win the Democratic nomination. 

You said, “the reason for that is I do not want to be responsible for electing some right-wing Republican to be president of the United States.” 

This was before the unexpected and unprecedented success of your grassroots campaign where you won 22 states and almost half of the delegates in a primary process that was stacked against you every step of the way.

We take you as a man of your word and we certainly don’t want Trump to be president either. A Trump presidency would be a terrible step backwards for working people, people of color, immigrants, students, retirees, the LGBTQ community, the environment, and the entire world, which is why more than ever we need you to reconsider the situation and make a third party run.

Polls show that Hillary Clinton, the official Democratic nominee, is an incredibly weak candidate in the general election. Even after spending $57 million in ads (vs. $4 million by Trump) she is trailing slightly, and Trump is actually leading in several important swing states. Frankly, Hillary Clinton does not have the credibility to take on the dangerous appeal of Donald Trump.

For a variety of reasons, many justified and some not, people don’t trust her. We are now faced with two of the most disliked presidential candidates in the history of the country. Unfortunately, too many people are disillusioned with politics and the lack of inspiring viable candidates will only hurt voter turnout. If there was ever an opportunity to break the corporate two party duopoly, this is it.

 So, we respectfully ask you to consider Jill Stein’s offer of a united Green Party ticket.

A Sanders/Stein campaign would be more popular than Hillary Clinton and more successful against Trump. If polling shows you in the lead before the election, we trust that Secretary Clinton would do the right thing and not be a spoiler.

The stakes are too high. If Donald Trump wins, all the progressive change we have fought for will vanish. Secretary Clinton’s recent vice presidential pick makes us question that she will run the kind of economically populist campaign it will take to defeat Trump. Furthermore, in light of the platform committee discussions, it makes us question where she really stands on important issues such as the TPP, fracking, single payer healthcare, war and military spending, Israeli occupation of Palestine, financial regulation, and money in politics.

With your steadfastness and consistency in talking about the issues, you educated us and inspired a whole generation to get involved in politics. We look forward to continuing the political revolution and working with your successor organizations, however right now the country still needs you to run for president.
