View in a browser     Virtual Ocean Dialogues         Digital Meeting, Join us on 1-5 June 2020   Register now  ›     Dear Mr Lacaz, I am pleased to invite you to the Virtual Ocean Dialogues, the first-ever virtual global ocean conference for ocean action, taking place from 1 to 5 June 2020. Hosted by the World Economic Forum and Friends of Ocean Action, the Dialogues will foster inclusive, constructive and practical exchanges to maintain momentum on the ocean action agenda. While 2020 was set to be the Super Year for the environment agenda, with many international conferences underscoring the urgency for action on climate change, biodiversity and the ocean, in the face of the pandemic, most of these conferences, including the 2020 United Nations Ocean Conference, are being rescheduled for 2021. The Virtual Ocean Dialogues will connect communities across the world that are seeking solutions and taking bold action for a healthy, resilient, thriving ocean, bringing about much needed opportunities for positive change. The role the ocean will play in ensuring a more sustainable and equitable recovery in the face of COVID-19 will also be discussed. The Dialogues will also include the launch of UpLink Ocean, a digital platform to crowdsource innovations that will accelerate progress on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.    How to register and join  The Dialogues will take place on TopLink, the Forum's digital event, collaboration and knowledge platform.  Confirm your participation on TopLink. To join the discussions on the day, go to the Event Programme. Click on the event and then “Join Meeting”.  Watch this short video for more information. To log in, please enter your username () and the password you have set. You can use the Magic Link function or Forgot your password if needed.
