Friend -- Today, the EPA finalized the Clean Power Plan -- the single most important step America has ever taken in the fight against global climate change. Now the plan moves to the states, where state leaders will determine how best to hit the goals we've set to limit carbon pollution. Several states and leaders are already making progress -- implementing efficiency standards and investing in clean energy. That deserves our support, because opponents of this plan will be fighting it everywhere they can. hgtyrfd We can't delay taking action on climate change -- it's one of the most pressing issues our nation faces, and it's our responsibility as a country to set an example for the rest of the world. And we also have an obligation to future generations -- sea level rise, climate patterns, and public health in decades to come depend on our actions today. That's why state-by-state leadership matters, and states and governors need support in the face of coordinated attacks by special interests and climate change deniers. Joining OFA is one good way to do that -- you can stand with leadership on climate change here: drerdesfgf Thanks, Barack Obama |
