Right before Bernie gets on stage at 8 p.m. Sunday night for the Democratic debate in Flint, Michigan, I want to be able to tell him that our campaign passed an incredible milestone: 5 million individual contributions.
So many people have stepped up since we announced our new goal.
We have 4,901,844 contributions right now, which is incredible.
I know Bernie would love to be able to tell the country about meeting our goal Sunday night, but right now we might fall short.
We can do this if we stand together. I'm going to give Bernie an updatetomorrow morning on our progress and will report back with what he says.
