731 delegates in 27 days

Bernie Sanders for President

Dear Compatriots,

More important numbers for you on a very important day before our midnight FEC deadline. Check 'em out:
  • In the next 27 days, eight more states will vote with 731 delegates up for grabs. That's 3 times as many delegates as we need to overtake Hillary Clinton's lead.

  • In those same 27 days, Hillary Clinton and her campaign are hosting at least 46 high-dollar fundraising events, including one event where people contribute as much as $353,400.

  • The average contribution to our campaign is just $27 – a figure that is important because it speaks to the fact that we are powered by working families, not the billionaire class.

Why does Bernie always mention the fact that the average contribution to our campaign is $27?

It's because what we're doing is actually pretty unprecedented in modern American politics.

Since Citizens United, all of the incentive for politicians is to raise money from millionaires and billionaires and give their blessing to super PACs. We're doing it a different way.

We don't have a super PAC.

There are no oligarchs waiting in the wings.

No Wall Street fundraisers.

In solidarity,

Jeff Weaver
